Dear Families of Sunset School,
We know there are a lot of concerns in our school community right now. So everyone is aware, if a member of our school community tests positive for COVID-19, public health will contact any individual who may be a close contact, including those who may have been exposed at school or outside of school. If it is determined that there was an exposure at school, we follow public health guidance on actions we should take. If you are contacted by public health please follow their advice carefully.
The safety and wellbeing of our students, families and staff remains our highest priority. We will continue to implement effective health and safety measures so that children and staff can continue to attend school as safely as possible. We as a school are reminding kids to wear masks, wash hands, keep vigilant, and stay home if sick.
We ask for your patience, and we will communicate out information provided by public health, as soon as we are able.
